Austin pedicab companies
Pedicab rides are a popular way to navigate crowded downtown Austin streets during festivals and big events. A Forbes writer in town for South By Southwest took a ride in one of the machines and dug into what he calls "one of the more compelling business stories of the festival."
Zach O'Malley Greenburg found that pedicabbies can rake in thousands of dollars during SXSW's 10 day span alone, making upwards of $100 for a good hour of work, according to the Forbes article.
Pedicab drivers will fly in from other U.S. cities such as Seattle and New York to work Austin streets during the festival for the steady pay, the article states.
